We operate out of a ground floor office in Janakpuri, specifically C3/404A. It’s a residential-feeling area but we’ve got our office space set up there. People come in asking about trips and we spend a lot of time on the computer looking at schedules and boat routes. It’s funny because we’re nowhere near the ocean here in New Delhi. The office isn't very big, so things can get a bit cramped when we have a few people visiting at once. We’ve got some posters on the walls of ships and water to help set the mood. Mostly, it’s just the sound of keyboards clicking and phones ringing throughout the day. We’ve been at this spot for some time now. The Janakpuri area is pretty familiar to us, and we like being on the ground floor because it’s easy for people to just walk in. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, which is just part of living in the city, but we manage. We handle the bookings and the questions that come with planning a big trip. It takes a lot of coordination to get everything right. We aren't a massive call center, just a local office where you can talk to a real person. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes the stacks of paper get a little high. It’s just how we work and how things get done here. We enjoy the regular rhythm of our office life and the stories people tell us.
