Pace

Pace is located at B-9 in Hauz Khas, New Delhi. The pin code is 110016, and if you know this area, you know it is a mix of old residential charm and newer, trendy spots. Our building is one of the older ones on the block. It’s a simple structure with a narrow staircase that leads up to our workspace. We don’t have a big reception desk or a waiting area with magazines. Instead, you just walk in and find us at our desks. The walls are mostly bare, except for a few calendars and maybe a stray coat hanging on a hook. We like being in Hauz Khas because it is central and easy for everyone to get to, though parking is always a headache around here. The noise from the main road filters in occasionally, but for the most part, it is a decent place to concentrate on what we are doing. We have a small pantry where we keep a kettle and some biscuits for when the afternoon slump hits. The lighting isn't perfect, and the floor has a few scuffs from moving furniture around, but it works for us. We aren't trying to impress anyone with how our office looks. We are just here to do the work we need to do. Most days are spent looking at screens and talking through projects. When we need a break, we just walk out into the lanes for some fresh air and a quick snack. It is a very basic setup that suits our style.
