P And O Cruises

This is where we handle things for the cruise work, right out of House Number 1906 in Kingsway Camp. Anish Koul and B.M. Chopra are the ones usually around. It’s an old neighborhood in New Delhi and the house has been here a long time. We aren’t down by the docks or anywhere near the ocean, obviously, since we’re in the middle of the city. We just deal with the paperwork and the bookings from this small office space. It’s a bit of a bridge between our life here and the ships. The space is a bit cramped with all the files and the computer setups, but we make it work. Most days it’s just us answering the phone and trying to explain how the ship schedules work to people who’ve never been on one. We get a lot of mail and sometimes people drop by just to ask questions about the sea. It feels a bit funny talking about big boats while looking out at the dusty streets of Kingsway Camp, but that’s the job. We don’t have a flashy storefront with big pictures of the ocean. It’s just a regular house where we do our business. We’ve lived in this area for years, so we know all the shortcuts and the best places to grab a quick lunch. It’s a quiet operation, just a few of us sitting at desks and keeping things moving along. We just help people get to where they need to go.
