Oswal Woolen Mills

Oswal Woolen Mills is situated at B-1/181 in Paschim Vihar, New Delhi. This part of West Delhi is usually pretty active, and our spot on the block is no different. The building is a standard size and we’ve been using it for our operations for quite a while. Inside, you will see a lot of what you’d expect from a place dealing with woolens. There are samples, rolls of fabric sometimes, and a lot of desks where the planning happens. It’s not a showroom; it’s more of a working office where the real grit of the business takes place. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but nobody really pays much attention to that because we are all too busy with the day-to-day tasks. We have a small staff here, and everyone knows everyone else’s business. We share tea, talk about the weather, and complain about the Delhi heat just like everyone else. Paschim Vihar has changed a lot over the years, but our little corner at B-1/181 stays pretty much the same. We have our routine and we stick to it. It’s not a corporate skyscraper experience. It’s just a bunch of people who know a lot about wool and textiles working out of a modest building in a residential neighborhood. We just focus on the orders and making sure the inventory is right. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the work week.
