Our place is called Orthopaedic And Sports Med, and we are located over in Shakarpur. It’s a part of Delhi that’s right on the edge of things, near Haryana. We deal with a lot of people coming in with various aches and pains or sports injuries they got while playing. The office is a straightforward medical space. It has that distinct smell of cleaning supplies and medicine that you expect. We have a few chairs in the waiting area that have seen a lot of use over the years. Most of our day is spent looking at charts or helping folks understand what’s going on with their bones and joints. It’s practical work. Shakarpur is a busy area, so there’s always a lot of movement outside our door. We see people from all walks of life, some in a hurry and others moving a bit slower because of their injuries. We don’t have any flashy signs, just the name on the door so people know they’re in the right spot. The lighting is bright and the floors are kept as clean as we can get them with all the foot traffic. It’s a bit of a small space for how much we do, but we make every inch count. We just focus on the patients and the paperwork that comes with it. Sometimes the wait is longer than we'd like, but we try to keep things moving along for everyone. It is a simple setup but it works for what we need.
