Oriental Travels

Oriental Travels is located at G-135 in Sarojini Nagar, which is one of the busiest parts of New Delhi. If you’ve ever been to the market here, you know how crowded and loud it gets. Our office is a small space tucked away from the main chaos, but we still feel the energy of the area every day. We handle a lot of different things, from booking train tickets to sorting out flights for people. It’s not a glamorous job; there’s a lot of waiting on hold and double-checking dates so nobody gets stuck at an airport. We have stacks of files and a few old chairs for when people come in to talk about their trips. The 110023 area is great because there is always good food nearby, but the traffic can be a nightmare if you’re trying to get somewhere fast. We’ve been operating out of this spot for quite a while now. We know the other shop owners around Sarojini Nagar, and we all kind of look out for each other. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait to get back to the computers, but that’s just life in the city. We don't use big words or try to act like we’re more than we are. We’re just a local travel desk helping folks get from one place to another. It’s honest work and keeps us busy from morning till night, even when the dust from the street gets everywhere. The front door sticks a bit during the monsoon.
