We’ve been operating Oriental Travels out of the Minto Road Complex for a long time now. If you know New Delhi, you know this area is right in the thick of things, very close to Connaught Place and the railway station. Our office at C-252 isn’t hard to find once you get into the complex, though the hallways can be a bit confusing if it’s your first time here. It’s an old building with a lot of character, and maybe a bit of dust too. We spend our days looking at flight schedules and trying to figure out the best routes for people who are planning to travel. The phones never really stop ringing, especially during the holiday seasons when everyone is trying to get away at the same time. There are stacks of folders and old travel brochures everywhere, even though most things are digital now. We like the vibe of this area because everything you need is just a short walk away, from the post office to the little stalls selling street food. The office itself has high ceilings and big windows, though the view isn't much to look at. We just sit at our desks, drink far too much tea, and talk to people about where they want to go next. It’s a steady kind of work, and we’ve got a rhythm down that hasn't changed much over the years. We just keep things moving, one booking at a time.
