Orchid Travels

You can find us at 336A on the second floor, right in Gali Number 4 in Govind Puri. It is part of the Kalkaji area in New Delhi -19. The office is located in a narrow lane, which is very typical for this part of the city. You have to climb up a flight of stairs to get to our door. It is a small space, filled with various travel posters and a few desks. We spend most of our time on the computer looking up flights and trains for people. It is not a fancy travel agency with a big glass front. It is more of a local spot where people from the neighborhood drop in to ask about ticket prices. We know a lot of the people who walk through the door. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the sounds from the street coming up through the windows, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We do not have any big corporate rules or strict protocols. We just sit down with whoever comes in and try to find them a good deal for their trip. It is a very manual process sometimes, with lots of checking and double-checking the schedules. We have a small fan that keeps us cool in the summer and a kettle for making tea. It is a modest setup, but everyone in Gali 4 knows what we do.
