Orchid Travels

Our little office is at number 40 in Begampur, which is right in the Malviya Nagar area of New Delhi. If you know Delhi, you know how crowded and loud Malviya Nagar can get, especially during the market hours. We are tucked into a spot that stays pretty active from morning until late evening. The pin code is 110017. We have been here for a while now, just doing our thing with travel bookings and helping people figure out their trips. It is not a shiny glass office like the ones you see in Gurgaon. It is a bit more lived-in. There are papers on the desks and the tea guy comes by every hour. We know the other shop owners on the street well. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard to hear the phone, but we manage. People stop by mostly because they live nearby or they are already out doing their shopping in Malviya Nagar. We do not spend much time on fancy decorations or anything. The chairs are comfortable enough for a quick chat about a flight or a train. We usually have the radio on in the background. It is a straightforward place to work. We just show up, open the shutters, and see who needs help that day. Dealing with travel can be messy with all the changes and cancellations these days, but we just sit here and work through it one person at a time.
