Orchid Travels

If you ever find yourself in Darya Ganj near the Khalsa Girls High Secondary School, you will probably see Orchid Travels right across the street. We are located at 5030 Kalidas Road. Darya Ganj is always a bit chaotic with the traffic and the noise from the markets, and our office is right in the thick of it. We spend our days at the desks booking tickets and looking at travel routes on the screen. It is a small office, and the walls are covered with a few old maps and some calendars that have been there for years. Being near the school means there is always a lot of activity outside our door, especially when the bells go off and the kids head home. We have a few chairs for people to sit on while they wait for their paperwork to be printed out. Most people come to us because they know we have been on Kalidas Road for a long time. It is not a shiny corporate office with fancy lights. It is just a place with a few computers, a printer that sometimes jams, and a lot of ledgers. We handle local trips and longer journeys for families in the 110002 area. Sometimes we have to stay late to sort out a booking that did not go through, but that is just how the travel business works around here in New Delhi.
