Operation In Travel Agency

Our office is tucked away at Rz-30 in Janakpuri C-1, New Delhi-110058. It is not one of those big glass buildings you see in the city center, but it works for us just fine. We handle the operations part of the travel agency here, which basically means a lot of checking lists and making sure the timings are correct for everyone. The Janakpuri area is usually quite lively and we are right in the middle of it. Inside, things are a bit messy with files and old calendars on the walls, but we know where everything is. It’s mostly just the sounds of the fans and the keyboard clicking all day long. We start early and stay until the work is done, often eating lunch at our desks while we wait for confirmations to come through. There is a small tea stall nearby that brings us snacks in the afternoon which is usually the highlight of the day. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who have been doing this for years and know how the travel business goes. It’s practical work and we don’t try to make it sound like something it isn't. People come in with questions and we do our best to find the answers on our screens. It’s a simple life here at the Rz-30 office and we like the routine of the neighborhood. We just focus on the tasks and get the operations sorted.
