On Board Tours & Travel

On Board Tours & Travel is based at E-49 in Shastrinagar. It’s a bit of a tight street, like most parts of this neighborhood, but we have been here for a good amount of time now. The office is tucked away, so you have to look for the house number carefully or you might walk right past it. We deal with travel bookings, mostly helping folks get their train tickets or sorted for local tours around the country. It’s not a huge office with lots of employees, just a few of us who know the travel business well enough to help out. The room is filled with some stacks of files and a computer that has seen better days, but it gets the job done. We spend the morning answering messages and the afternoon dealing with people who walk in off the street. Shastrinagar is a busy place, and there is always some noise from the neighbors or the delivery bikes zooming past. We don't have a big corporate setup, just a desk and a couple of chairs where we can talk about where you want to go. It feels more like a home office than a big company space. We usually have the door open to let some air in, and we know most of the people who live around this block. It is a quiet way to run a business, just doing our thing and helping people get from one place to another.
