About Omnia Services(Indian Airlines Callcentre) – Tourism in Delhi
We are based out of a house in Rohini, specifically House No. F-22/118 in Sector-3. It’s a residential area, so it’s a bit quieter than the main markets, which is good because we spend all day on the phones. We handle the call center work for Indian Airlines from this location. It’s not a big fancy call center with hundreds of rows of cubicles. It’s a more modest setup where a small group of us works in shifts to answer questions about flights and tickets. The rooms are filled with the sound of people talking and the hum of computers and cooling fans. We’ve been in Sector-3 for a while now, and the neighbors are used to us coming and going at odd hours for the night shifts. Working for an airline means things can get very busy very fast, especially if there’s a flight delay or a weather problem somewhere in the country. We just try to stay patient and help the people on the other end of the line as much as possible. It’s a lot of sitting and listening, which can be tiring, but it’s honest work that pays the bills. We don't have any big signs outside on the house, so most people wouldn't even know what we do inside. We just focus on the calls and try to keep the systems running smoothly throughout the day and night. It is just a job.
