Our office is located in Subhash Nagar, right on the ground floor at 1/19. It is tucked away in the back side of the building. Finding the back entrance can be a little tricky the first time you visit. Subhash Nagar is a crowded part of New Delhi, with narrow streets and lots of houses built close together. Since we handle services for the airline, our work is pretty constant. We are on the ground floor, so we see people walking past the windows all day. It is not a very big space, so things can get a bit cramped when the whole team is in. We have our computers and phones all lined up. The walls are covered with some old schedules and notes pinned up over the years. We usually get our tea from the guy who comes around with a kettle in the mid-morning. It is a very local vibe. We don't have a corporate reception desk or a person in a suit greeting you. You just walk in and someone will look up from their screen to talk to you. The metro station isn't too far away, which is how most of us get to work. Sometimes the street noise from the market nearby gets loud, especially on weekends. We just focus on our tasks and try to keep things moving. It is a basic, functional office where the work comes first.
