New Mahavir Nagar is where we are based, specifically at Gali Number 4 in the M-42/A building. It’s a tight street, which is pretty typical for this part of New Delhi. Inside our office, it’s mostly just the sound of keyboards clicking and people talking on their headsets. We handle a lot of different tasks for other companies that don't want to do the backend work themselves. It isn't the most exciting job in the world, but it keeps us busy and it pays the bills. Most of our staff live nearby, so they usually walk or take a quick rickshaw to get here in the mornings. The office is small but we made it work by fitting in enough desks for everyone. We have a small corner for water and making tea during breaks. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a minute for the backup to kick in, which is just part of living and working in Delhi. We aren't trying to be some giant, cold corporation. We’re just a local BPO team doing what we’re told to do for the day. Whether it's data entry or handling customer calls, we just get through the list. It’s honest work. The neighborhood is loud with vendors passing by and kids playing, but we just focus on the screens. It’s just a regular bunch of people working in a regular office.
