Omnia Bpo Services

We run Omnia Bpo Services out of Flat No-46 in the Triveni Apartments here in New Delhi. It’s a residential complex, so it’s much quieter than a typical office building. We have a few rooms set up with computers and headsets. It’s not a giant call center with hundreds of people. There are just a few of us working on different tasks for our clients. I usually get in early to make sure the server is running right. The light in the hallway flickers sometimes, and we keep meaning to ask the society maintenance to fix it. We have a small balcony where we go to get some fresh air during breaks. You can see the park from there. We handle data and some customer calls. It’s mostly staring at screens and typing. We don't have a corporate cafeteria, so we all just bring our tiffins and eat together in the small kitchen area. Sometimes we order samosas from the shop outside the gate if we’re staying late. It’s a relaxed place to work, even when we have a lot of deadlines. We don't wear suits or anything like that. Just regular clothes. I think working in an apartment makes it feel more comfortable for everyone. We just focus on getting the spreadsheets and calls finished by the end of the day, then we head home.
