Our office is on the second floor of I-8/23, and even though the address says New Delhi, we are right there on the edge near Haryana. It is a busy spot in 110085 where there is always something going on in the street below. We have a lot of desks packed into the floor because that is the nature of what we do. It gets pretty loud when everyone is on a call at the same time, so you have to learn how to focus on your own screen. The carpet is a bit worn out in the spots where people walk the most, and the break room is basically just a corner with a microwave and a water cooler. We spend a lot of time staring at monitors and wearing those headsets that start to feel heavy after a few hours. The shift changes are the busiest times because one group is leaving while another is trying to find an open desk. It is not a glamorous life, but it is steady work and the people here are good. We share a lot of jokes to get through the night shifts or the long afternoons. Outside, the weather might be dusty or raining, but inside it is always the same hum of computers and voices. We just keep things moving and try to stay on top of the queue. It is a grind, but we are a good team and we make it work somehow.
