We work out of Paschim Vihar at Gh-1/20. It is a residential area mostly, so it’s a bit quieter than the main markets. We have a setup here for handling phone calls and computer work. It is a BPO, which just means we do tasks for other people who don't have the time. The office is pretty basic. We have rows of desks and headsets. Sometimes it gets quite loud when everyone is talking at once. We’ve been here in this part of New Delhi for some time. We aren't one of those massive call centers in the big tech parks. We’re just a local operation in a regular building. The commute isn't too bad for most of us. We drink a lot of coffee to stay awake during the long shifts. It is not the most exciting job in the world, but it pays the bills. We handle the data and the customer queries as they come in. Sometimes the software acts up, and we have to call the tech guy. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a uniform. You just walk in and see us working. It is a straightforward business. We show up, put on the headsets, and do the work until it’s time to go home. That's life at our Paschim Vihar spot. We don't need much more than a working phone line and a good computer.
