Our office is on the 3rd floor of building 488 in Sunlight Colony-2, which is right in the Ashram area of New Delhi. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs if the power is out and the lift isn't working, but we are used to it by now. The Ashram intersection is famous for being one of the most jammed places in the city, so we always hear the roar of the engines and the shouting of drivers down below. It’s never really quiet here. Omnia Bpo Services Ltd. is basically just a group of us sitting at our desks with our headsets on, doing what we do. The walls are a little thin, so you can hear the neighbors in the next office sometimes. Sunlight Colony is a tight place with narrow lanes and lots of small businesses packed together. We get our lunch from the local stalls nearby, mostly just dal and roti or whatever is fresh that day. It’s not a corporate glass tower or anything like that. It’s just an old building with a lot of character and maybe a few cracks in the plaster here and there. We don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks, we just make sure we are here when the shift starts. Dealing with the New Delhi-14 heat is probably the hardest part, but the old fans keep things moving. We’ve been at this spot for some time and everyone around knows us.
