Our office is located at Rz-143 in Sayed Nangloi, right in the Paschim Vihar area of New Delhi. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs to get to us. Inside, it is mostly the sound of people talking on their headsets and the hum of the air conditioners trying to keep up with the Delhi heat. We have been working out of this building for some time now. It’s not the kind of place with glass walls or fancy cafes. We just have our desks, our computers, and a small area where we eat our lunch. The streets outside in Paschim Vihar are always crowded with rickshaws and people heading to the market. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in so we can get back to work. We handle a lot of different calls and data stuff throughout the day and night because we run on different shifts. The staff here are mostly local folks who take the bus or the metro to get to Nangloi. We don’t really do much besides the work itself. We don't have big meetings about goals; we just try to get through the queue of tasks before the shift ends. It’s a practical place where we just focus on the screens and try to do a decent job every day. The tea lady comes by twice a day, and that’s usually the highlight of the afternoon for most of us here.
