Our office is right here in Govindpuri, at 766, B/7, in Gali No-07. If you’ve ever been to this part of New Delhi, you know how tight the streets can get. It is always full of life, with people walking everywhere and scooters zooming past. Omnia Bpo Services Ltd is tucked away in one of these lanes. It is a busy place to work. We spend most of our time on the phones or at the computers, so the noise from the street outside is just background music to us now. The building is a standard Govindpuri structure, nothing too tall, just enough space for our desks and the equipment we need. Gali No-07 is easy to find if you know the main landmarks, but for a first-timer, it can be a bit of a maze. We deal with all sorts of service tasks throughout the day. It’s a lot of talking and problem-solving for people who call in. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, which is typical for this area, but we just wait it out and get back to it. The team here is mostly local folks who live nearby. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a practical work environment where we try to get through the daily list of tasks. There’s a good tea stall at the corner where we usually go during the afternoon break.
