Our office is at DG-871 in Sarojini Nagar, New Delhi. If you’ve ever been to the market nearby, you know how busy this area gets. It is always crowded with people looking for bargains. Our building is a bit tucked away from the main shopping chaos, but you can still feel the energy of the place. Inside, we have rows of desks with headsets sitting on them. There is always someone coming in or going out because of the different shifts. We have a small corner with a microwave where people heat up their food. It usually smells like curry or dal around lunchtime. The walls are a plain off-white color and we have a few calendars hanging up to keep track of the days. It’s not a glamorous job, but we have a good group of people here. We talk a lot during our breaks about what’s happening in the neighborhood. Sometimes we have to shout over the noise of the traffic outside if the window is open. We’ve been in Sarojini Nagar for a long time now. The building is older, so the stairs are a bit steep and the paint is peeling in some corners. We don't mind it much. It’s a practical space where we get our work done and earn our living. We just keep the computers running and make sure everyone has what they need to get through the shift.
