Omaxe Ltd

Omaxe Ltd is based out of 281 SFS Flats in Vasant Enclave. It is a bit different from what people expect because we are in a residential area rather than a commercial skyscraper. The flats are actually quite quiet, which really helps when you have a mountain of paperwork to get through. We have converted the rooms into office spaces, so you will see desks and printers where a dining table or a sofa might usually be. It has a very local, neighborhood feel. You have to walk up the stairs and the corridors are usually filled with the sound of someone’s television or the smell of a neighbor cooking lunch. We like it here because it feels less like a cold, corporate office and more like a real community. New Delhi can be a very fast and aggressive city, but Vasant Enclave has its own slower pace. We spend our days on the phone or looking at big project plans spread out over the desks. Sometimes the courier guy gets a bit lost looking for our specific flat number, so we have to go down to the street to meet him. It is not a polished headquarters with a fancy entrance. It is just a group of us in a flat, working on our real estate business and keeping things simple. We have been here for a long while and all the neighbors know us by now. We just focus on the daily tasks.
