Om Sai Telecom

Our shop, Om Sai Telecom, is located in Trilokpuri 5 Block. We are right in Sunar Wali Gali at Shop 3/26. It’s a narrow street, so it’s mostly people walking by or kids on cycles. The shop isn't very big at all. We have a glass counter where we keep the mobile accessories and some second-hand phones we’ve taken in. Most of our day is spent helping people with their SIM cards or fixing a broken charging port. Sometimes the children from the neighborhood stand outside and look at the screen guards. We have a small stool for whoever is working that day. The walls are painted a light blue, though it’s peeling a bit near the corner. It gets quite lively in the evening when everyone comes home from work. That is when we are the busiest. We don't have any fancy lights outside. Just the name written on a board. We’ve been in this gali for a while, so we know most of the faces that pass by. If a phone is too broken to fix, we just say so. There’s no point in making people wait for nothing. We keep a bottle of water and a tiffin box behind the counter. It’s a simple way to spend the day, right here in the middle of the block. We just open the shutters and see who comes in.
