Om Logistics is based out of B-Block, Number 701, in Mangol Puri. This part of New Delhi is very industrial, so we fit right in with the surrounding warehouses and workshops. Our daily routine is mostly about managing the flow of trucks. We have a lot of space, but it always seems to be filling up with crates and shipping containers. The phone at the desk rings constantly with drivers checking directions or customers wondering where their cargo is. Mangol Puri can be a bit rough around the edges, and our office is the same way. It’s functional and built for work, not for looking pretty. We have a small crew here that handles the loading and the manifests. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when the monsoon rain hits and we have to make sure everything stays dry under the tarps. We spend a lot of time drinking tea and looking at schedules taped to the walls. There is no corporate vibe here; it’s just a lot of logistics work and making sure the wheels keep turning. We deal with all kinds of items, from small boxes to big machinery parts. Every day brings a different set of problems to solve, whether it’s a delayed truck or a missing piece of paperwork. We just stay here in B-Block and get the job done as best as we can. We are usually here from early morning until the last truck is logged.
