Om Logistics Ltd.

We operate out of F-2/210 in the Mangol Puri area of New Delhi. It’s a place where there is always a lot of movement, mostly trucks and boxes. Logistics is basically about getting things from one point to another without losing them. We have a lot of paperwork to deal with every day. The office is usually filled with the sound of phones ringing and people shouting about delivery times. Mangol Puri is a busy industrial kind of spot, so it fits what we do. We aren't a high-tech firm with robots; we’re just a bunch of people moving crates and checking manifests. Sometimes the weather makes the deliveries late, and we have to explain that to the customers. It gets stressful when a shipment is stuck somewhere, but we do our best to track it down. The desks are covered in notebooks and pens because we still write a lot of things down by hand. It’s a practical business. We don't have fancy furniture or a big sign. Most of our work happens on the loading docks or in the back of trucks. We’ve been at this for a while and we know the roads around Delhi pretty well. It’s hard work, and the hours are long, but that’s the nature of moving goods. We just keep the wheels turning as much as we can so things arrive eventually. We deal with the delays and the traffic as they come.
