Om Cell Point

If you are walking through Badli Village and pass by the Shiv Mandir, you will find Om Cell Point at Badli Nagar 4. It is just a small room filled with mobile accessories and old parts. I started this shop because everyone in the village needed a place to fix their phones without going too far. The air inside is often thick with the smell of solder from the repair desk. I spend most of my time under a bright lamp, trying to fix tiny connectors or replacing batteries that have puffed up. Being near the Shiv Mandir means I hear the bells and prayers all day long, which is a nice backdrop to the work. People come in for a quick recharge or to buy a cheap pair of earphones. The shop at number 4 is quite narrow, so if two people are inside, it already feels full. I have a lot of old phone models lying around for spare parts because you never know what someone might bring in. Badli Nagar is a simple place, and I try to keep the business simple too. I don't use any fancy machines, just the basic tools that I’ve used for years. Sometimes the power goes out and I have to work by candlelight for a bit. There is a small display of phone cases on the wall that I try to keep tidy, but dust from the street always finds its way in.
