You can find us at Plot No. 9 in Mehandi Bagh, right behind the big Hanuman Temple here in Alwar. It’s a decent spot because the temple is a good landmark for anyone trying to find us. Being a BPO, the office is usually filled with the sound of people talking on headsets. It doesn’t really stop, even when it gets late. We have people working different shifts, so there is almost always someone in the building. The air conditioning is always running because of all the computers we have lined up on the desks. It’s a lot of sitting and talking, which can be tiring after a few hours, but we take breaks when we can. Sometimes we go out back to the temple area just to get some fresh air. The furniture is nothing special, just standard office chairs that we’ve had for a few years. We handle calls and data for all sorts of people, and it can get a bit repetitive, but it’s a living. Most of the staff are young people from around Alwar who are looking for steady work. We don’t have a big cafeteria, just a small corner with a kettle and some biscuits. It’s a straightforward place where we just focus on answering the phones and keeping things moving without making a big deal out of it. It’s just how we operate here in Rajasthan, keeping the lines open and the data entries moving along throughout the day.
