Olivebarandkitchen is situated at 1237, Rangh Mahal, which is on S.P. Mukherjimarg. If you know the area, we are right behind the old Novelty Cinema. It’s a part of Delhi that has so much history and noise. The streets are narrow and always packed with people and rickshaws moving goods around. Our place is right in the middle of all that chaos. Inside, it’s all about the food and the prep work. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen area, getting things ready for the day. It’s hot and busy, especially when the orders start coming in. The building itself has that old Delhi charm, with walls that have seen a lot of years. We aren't trying to be a fancy corporate chain; we’re just a local spot where we focus on the cooking. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because of the traffic on S.P. Mukherjimarg, and we all have to scramble to get things sorted. You can hear the sounds of the city through the windows—the horns and the shouting. It’s a real place with real people working hard. We wash the floors, prep the vegetables, and handle the customers as they come. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when it gets busy, but that’s the way it’s always been here behind Novelty Cinema. We just keep cooking and serving every day.
