Old World Hospitality

Our place is out in Barasat, specifically at North Aswini Pally in the North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. We’re a bit of a distance from the main parts of Kolkata, but we like it that way. Old World Hospitality is the name we go by. We deal with all sorts of things related to looking after guests and organizing events. It’s not a high-end corporate office; it’s more of a functional workspace where we keep our supplies and records. The building is an older one, and the rooms have that comfortable, lived-in feel. We spend our days coordinating with different people to make sure things run smoothly for whatever event or stay is coming up. Barasat is a nice area, though it gets quite busy during the festival seasons. We have a small staff who are mostly from around here, so we know the local markets and vendors well. Our desks are usually covered in notebooks and printouts. We don't use much fancy technology, just the basics to keep things organized. Sometimes the office feels a bit cramped, but it’s a good kind of busy. We’ve been in Aswini Pally for a while, and we’ve seen the neighborhood grow. We just focus on the practical side of hospitality, making sure the basics are covered and people are satisfied. It’s a simple business run by people who actually care about the work they do.
