Old World Hospitality

Our office is over at C-3, 279 in Lodhi Colony. If you have ever been to this part of New Delhi, you know it has a very specific feel with the old buildings and the wide roads. Old World Hospitality has been operating from here for quite a bit. We handle a lot of the behind-the-scenes stuff for guest houses and food places. It’s not all glamorous. There is a lot of counting linens and making sure the kitchen supplies showed up on time. Our team is pretty small. We usually have a pot of tea going in the corner and someone is always on the phone trying to fix a booking error. We like being in Lodhi Colony because it feels like a real neighborhood, not just a bunch of glass towers. The walls in our office are thick and keep the Delhi heat out mostly. We don’t really do the whole corporate ladder thing. If a lightbulb needs changing or a floor needs sweeping, whoever is closest just does it. We focus on making sure guests feel okay when they stay at the places we look after. It’s about the small details that people actually notice, like a clean towel or a decent breakfast. We just keep our heads down and do the work every day.
