We are located in Village Chhattarpur, right near the Government Dispensary at House Number 348. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot if you aren’t familiar with the narrow lanes around here. The office is small but we’ve managed to fit everything we need into it. Being near the dispensary means there’s always a lot of activity on the street, people coming and going all day long. We spend most of our time staring at flight schedules and trying to figure out the best routes for people who want to go abroad or just visit family in another state. It’s not always easy because the systems can be slow or the prices change while we’re talking to someone. We get a lot of walk-ins from the village who just want to know how much a ticket to Dubai or London costs. We have a few old posters of mountains and beaches on the walls to make it look the part. The desks are usually covered in printouts and sticky notes with phone numbers on them. It’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is. In the evenings, the area gets quite busy with the local market. We usually lock up around seven, unless someone is late picking up their passport or documents. It’s just a local travel shop where we try to help people get where they need to go without too much of a headache.
