It is not the actual hotel building where the guests stay, but we do a lot of the work that keeps things moving behind the scenes. We have been here for a good while now. The space is filled with desks and papers and people talking on phones about bookings or supply orders. It is a quiet residential area mostly, so it is a bit different from the busy hotels. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea and coffee during our breaks. Most of us have worked together for years. We handle a lot of the coordination stuff that people do not really see when they are on vacation. It is a lot of spreadsheets and looking at calendars to make sure everything is lined up right. Sometimes we have to deal with last-minute changes that make things a bit stressful, but we usually figure it out. We do not have a big sign outside or anything like that. It is just a practical place to work. We like it because it is easy to get to and we have our own routine. If you are looking for the fancy lobby, this isn't it, but we are the ones making sure the lobby stays fancy for everyone else. We stay pretty busy from Monday to Saturday just keeping things organized.
