This specific spot is the F&B Service Dept over at 7 Shamnath Marg in Civil Lines. It is where Karan Singh Chouhan and the rest of the team handle things. Civil Lines is a bit older and has more trees than some other parts of Delhi, which makes the walk into work okay. We are based in the Delhi-54 area. The building has that old Delhi feel to it, with thick walls and high ceilings in some parts. We spend most of our time dealing with food and beverage logistics. It’s a lot of checking lists and making sure things are moving where they need to go. It isn't always quiet; there is usually someone shouting about a delivery or looking for a misplaced file. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep going. The office isn't trying to impress anyone. It is just where we sit to get the job done. You won't find any glossy brochures lying around here, just heaps of spreadsheets and order forms. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we all just take a break until it comes back. We know the security guards at the gate and the guys who deliver the mail. It’s a small community inside this department. We’ve been at 7 Shamnath Marg for a while now, and we know all the little shortcuts through the building and the surrounding streets by heart.
