We are located out in Palam Colony, which means we spend a lot of our time listening to the planes overhead. Being this close to the airport in New Delhi-45 defines most of what we do every day. It’s a dusty part of the city, and the traffic around Palam can be a real headache if you don’t know the back ways. Our office isn't much to look at, just a few desks and a lot of paperwork piled up. We handle things related to the flights, but it’s mostly behind-the-scenes stuff that nobody ever really sees. We aren't some big shiny operation with uniforms; we’re just regular people in Delhi-45 trying to make sure things get to where they need to go on time. The heat gets pretty bad in the afternoons, so we usually have the fans going full blast. It’s hard to stay organized when there’s so much coming and going, but we manage. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and we know the tea stall guys and the rickshaw drivers by name. It’s a tight-knit community here in the colony. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or anything. We just get the work done, deal with the delays when they happen, and try to get home before the evening traffic gets too backed up on the main road. That’s just the way it goes here.
