Oasis Resource Management

Oasis Resource Management is based in C-21, Jhilmil Colony over in the Shahdara area. It’s a part of Delhi that stays pretty busy with local trade and small businesses. Our office isn't very large at all. It’s mostly just a front room where we meet people and a back area for all the files and folders we’ve collected over the years. We spend our time looking for people to fill jobs and talking to companies about what they need. The street outside can get quite dusty, especially in the dry months when the wind picks up. We have to wipe down the desks every single morning before we can start our work. There are a few trees outside that give a bit of shade to the front, which helps a lot when the sun is out. We have a small water cooler in the corner for the staff and anyone who visits. It’s a lot of talking on the phone and writing down notes on yellow pads. We aren't big on using fancy new software for every little thing; sometimes a pen and paper just work better for us to keep track. People from the colony often stop by to see if there is any work available for them. We try to be helpful and give them some advice. The lighting inside is a bit bright but it keeps us awake and focused on the paperwork we need to finish.
