Our office is tucked away on Lohiya Street No - 5 in Babarpur. If you know the area, you know Shahdara can get pretty crowded and noisy, especially in the afternoons. We have been operating out of 1053/E for some time now. It is a typical small business setup where we spend most of our hours looking at maps, flight schedules, and hotel bookings on our computer screens. There is always a stack of passports or visa forms sitting on the corner of the main table. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when three people are all talking at once on their phones. We are not some big corporate chain with glass walls and expensive rugs; it is just a practical space where we get the job done. The walls have a few posters of places far away, but mostly it is just calendars and to-do lists pinned up with tape. We deal with all sorts of travel plans, mostly for people who live around here and want to go somewhere new for a bit. The power goes out once in a while, so we keep the registers updated by hand just in case. It is a lot of coordination work, making sure cars show up on time and hotels actually have the rooms ready when people arrive. It can be stressful when a flight gets canceled, but we just figure it out. We like the local vibe of the street, even if finding parking is a total nightmare.
