We are located over at Guru Nanak Market on Hari Singh Nalwa Street. The shop is listed as O K Jain & Sons, and you can find us at T 2419. It has been a family thing for a long time. My grandfather was involved, then my father, and now it is my turn to look after things. We are not a big corporation; it is just us and a couple of helpers. The market is always crowded, especially on weekends, so it gets a bit hectic. We sell various goods that people in the area need for their homes or businesses. It is mostly about knowing where every single item is stored in such a small space. We have things tucked away in corners you would not believe. It is a lot of work to keep track of it all, but we have had years of practice. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us for decades. They know our names and we know theirs. We do not spend money on fancy signs or advertising. We just open the shop, sit on our stools, and wait for the day to begin. There is a lot of talking and catching up with neighbors that happens between sales. It is just the way things are done in Karol Bagh. We take pride in just being here every day, ready to sell whatever is on the shelves.
