You can find us out in Ganapatipur village, which is under the Basirhat post in North 24 Parganas. It’s a bit of a journey to get here if you aren't from the local area, but we like it this way. We deal with jobs and helping people find work, which is something that matters quite a bit around here. The office is pretty simple, just like the rest of the village. We don’t have high-speed elevators or glass walls. It’s mostly just us, some chairs, and our computers. We spend a lot of time talking to people from the surrounding towns who are looking for a change or a new start. The weather out here in West Bengal can be quite something, especially during the monsoon season when the rain hits the roof. We don't put on any acts or try to sound like we are from a big city. We are just local people trying to make a difference in how folks find employment. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but we always get back to it.
