North Delhi Power Limited

We are located at F - 54, on the first floor in Kalka Jee, New Delhi. North Delhi Power Limited has this office here to handle all sorts of things related to the local area. It’s a pretty standard setup with some counters and a waiting area for people who come in with questions. Most of the day is spent looking at charts or dealing with paperwork that comes in from the field teams. It can get a bit loud when there are a lot of people waiting to talk to us about their bills or connections. We try to work through the pile as fast as we can, but there is always more to do. The office has that typical government or utility feel to it—lots of files and old desks. Kalka Jee is a very active neighborhood, so there is always someone coming or going. We have our regulars who stop by just to complain about the heat or the price of things. The staff here are just normal people who live in different parts of Delhi and commute in. We have a small area in the back where we can eat our lunch and have some water. It’s not a fancy place by any means, but it’s where the work happens. We just try to keep things moving along so the lights stay on and the records stay updated without too many errors.
