Nitco World Travel is located at A-321 in Amar Puri, which is part of the Aram Nagar area in Pahar Ganj. If you know the neighborhood, it is right nearby Rajiv Motors, so that is how most people find us. Pahar Ganj is always a bit chaotic and loud, with motorcycles squeezing through the lanes and people shouting. Our office sits right in the middle of all that energy. It is a small space filled with stacks of brochures and old ledgers that we still use sometimes. The air smells like the street food from the stalls outside and the exhaust from the traffic. We have a couple of ceiling fans that spin fast to keep the heat away, but it still gets quite warm in the summer months. There is a lot of dust that comes in from the main road, so we are always wiping down the desks. Most of our day is spent talking to people who are looking to go somewhere else. We sit on these wooden chairs that have been around for years and type away on the keyboards. The walls have a few scratches and the paint is peeling in the corners, but it does not really matter for the work we do. We just keep the files organized and answer the phone whenever it rings. It is a busy little corner of Delhi and we have been here long enough to know everyone on the street.
