Nirulas Restaurant

This Nirulas is located at 244-Janta Flats in the Pulpehladpur area, right on Surajkund Road. It’s not like those big fancy restaurants in the malls. We are tucked into a residential block, so we see a lot of the same faces from the neighborhood every day. The kitchen is always busy with the smell of food cooking. We have tables for people to sit, but a lot of what we do is just getting orders ready for the locals who live in the flats nearby. The space is simple and we try to keep it clean, though it gets worn down with so many people coming in and out. Being on Surajkund Road means we get some traffic from people passing through New Delhi too. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us cooks and the staff at the counter. We deal with the usual kitchen stuff like running out of ingredients or a fridge acting up. It's just part of running a food place. We’ve been serving this community for a while now. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk, but on weekends it gets pretty loud and crowded. We like being part of Pulpehladpur. It’s a busy, working-class spot and our restaurant fits right in. We just focus on making the food and getting it on the plate for whoever walks through the door.
