Niit Smart Serve

This is our main base in New Delhi. Niit Smart Serve is basically an office where we handle various service tasks and support work for different clients. We do not have a fancy street address to show off to everyone, just a functional space in the city where the computers are always humming and the lights stay on late. Most of the people working here are quite young and they are very good with technology and handling systems. We sit in our cubicles and wear headsets for a good part of the day, talking to people who need help with different things on their end. It can get pretty loud in the room when everyone is on a call at the same time, but you honestly get used to the background noise after a week or two of working here. We have a small break room where the microwave is always in use around lunchtime and people share their food. New Delhi is a huge place, so people commute from all over the city to get here, arriving on the metro or by the local bus. The work is very structured, with certain targets we have to meet, but we try to keep the mood in the office light. We are not big on formal speeches; we just come in, do our hours, and head home to our families. Sometimes the systems go down, and we just talk to each other while we wait for the power.
