Our little spot is over with Mr. Dalvir Singh Tokas in New Delhi. It is a bit of a specific location to find, but once you are here, it is pretty straightforward. We handle a lot of the beauty and personal care items that people use every day. The office is usually full of boxes and samples of shampoos or creams. It smells quite nice most of the time, actually. We work under the Dabur name, but it feels more like a small family business here in this neighborhood. We have our routines, like checking the morning shipments and updating the ledgers by hand. It is not a high-tech operation with robots or anything. It is just us sitting at our desks, making sure the orders go out to the right shops. Sometimes Mr. Tokas stops by to see how things are going. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers, trying to make sure we get the stuff we need for the local market. It gets a bit hectic around the holidays when everyone wants gifts, but we just buckle down and get it done. We do not have any big corporate slogans hanging on the walls. We just have a calendar and a clock. It is a steady job in a busy part of the city. We try to keep things organized despite all the boxes everywhere.
