New Sharp Mobile

Our shop is located in Old Lajpat Rai Market at number 1253. If you’ve ever been there, you know it’s one of the most crowded markets you can find in the city. It’s a maze of tiny shops selling all sorts of things. We focus on mobile phones and accessories. The shop is very small, so we have to make use of every inch of wall space for hanging chargers and phone cases. We spend a lot of time dealing with cracked screens and batteries that won't charge anymore. It’s a fast-paced environment and there’s always someone asking for a price or a quick fix. The noise from the street is constant—shouting, horns, and music. We have a small stool behind the counter, but we don't get much chance to sit down. The glass on the display counter is a bit scratched from years of use. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us working side by side. Sometimes we run out of a specific part and have to send someone to another shop in the market to find it for the customer. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't have a polished website or anything like that. We just open up the shop, deal with the customers who walk in, and try to keep up with the new phone models. It’s a long day in a small room, but there is always a lot to talk about with the other shopkeepers nearby during the slow times.
