Nationalinformatics Centre

We are located in New Delhi, specifically in the 110067 zip code area. It’s a big government area with lots of trees and old buildings. Our work at Nationalinformatics Centre is mostly about computers and keeping systems running, which means a lot of us are staring at monitors for hours on end. It’s a pretty quiet environment because everyone is focused on their screens. We aren't one of those trendy tech startups with bean bags and free snacks; it’s more of a traditional setup with grey desks and old-fashioned chairs. The building has been here for years and you can tell by the way the walls look. We get a lot of sunshine through the windows in the afternoon, which makes the office a bit warm. New Delhi is a busy place, but our little corner of it feels a bit more secluded. We spend our days troubleshooting things or updating data, which sounds a bit boring to most people, but it’s what we do. We don’t really have a big marketing team or anything like that to talk us up. We just show up, do the technical stuff that needs doing, and try to make sure everything stays online. It’s a lot of responsibility but we just take it one day at a time. The canteen food is okay, and that’s usually where we catch up on office gossip or complain about the commute after work.
