National Scooter Emporium

We are over at 1510/27 on Hari Singh Nalwa Street in Karol Bagh. National Scooter Emporium has been a fixture here for many years. Despite the name "Emporium," we’re really just a practical shop filled with scooter parts and accessories. The shelves are packed with everything from light bulbs to engine components. We don't have any fancy lighting or air conditioning; we just keep the doors open and the ceiling fans going. Most of our customers are folks from the local area who rely on their scooters for work or getting the kids to school. We see the same people month after month for their regular bits and pieces. We don't go in for fancy marketing or trying to look bigger than we are. It’s just a few of us here, and we know our inventory by heart. Sometimes we have to hunt for a part in the back room, which is a bit of a maze, but we usually find what’s needed. The street is always loud with horns and people shouting, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We stay focused on the work at hand. If someone comes in with a problem, we listen and try to find the right part to fix it. It’s been our way of doing things for a long time and we don't see any reason to change. We aren't corporate people, just shopkeepers who understand how much a working scooter means to a family.
