National Informatics Centre,New Delhi

This location for the National Informatics Centre is over in Katwariya Sarai, specifically in Flat D5. It is a residential-style setup, which is quite common for some of the work we handle in New Delhi. We have been here for a while, managing various bits of information and keeping the systems updated. The house is a bit old, but it stays cool enough in the summer. We have cables running along the floor and some servers tucked away in the back rooms. It is not the big fancy headquarters people might imagine. It is just a practical space where we can sit down and get the work done without many distractions. Katwariya Sarai is a crowded place with lots of students and small shops, so finding a parking spot near House Rz35B is always a bit of a gamble. We usually just walk or take the bus. Inside, it’s mostly quiet except for the hum of the computers. We drink a lot of chai and stare at screens for most of the day. It’s an honest living and we play our part in the bigger picture of the city’s data. We don't have any big signs out front, just the address on the door. It’s a bit cramped when the whole team is in, but we make it work somehow. We have a leaky tap in the bathroom, but we will fix it soon. It is a humble place for important computer work.
