About National Aids Control Organization – Tourism in Delhi
We operate out of 98-B, which is a DDA LIG flat in Ram Pura. It’s not your typical office building with glass walls. It feels more like a home that’s been filled with filing cabinets and stacks of papers. Being in a DDA flat means we are right in the middle of a neighborhood. You can hear kids playing outside and people talking in the corridors. We do a lot of administrative work here. There are posters on the walls and boxes of pamphlets tucked into the corners. The space is a bit tight, especially when we have several people in for a meeting. We spend our days answering phones, updating records, and trying to keep everything organized. It’s a lot of data and coordination. Ram Pura is a crowded area, so getting here can be a bit of a struggle during peak hours. We usually have a fan or two humming in the background to keep the air moving. It’s not a fancy environment, but it’s where the work happens. We don’t have a big reception area, just a desk near the door where people can check in. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know how the old cupboards stick and which light switch doesn’t work properly. It’s just our little hub in the middle of the residential blocks, doing what we need to do every day. There is always a lot of paperwork to get through before we head home.
