Nathu Sweet & Rest. Delhi

If you go down Devli Road in Khanpur, you’ll find us at B 18A in Jawahar Park. This is where we make the sweets and serve food every day. It gets pretty loud in the kitchen, especially in the mornings when we start prepping things. We aren't a five-star place, just a local spot where people come to grab a box of laddoos or sit down for a quick meal. The neighborhood around here is always moving. We have regulars who come in every day for the same thing. Sometimes the floors get a bit sticky when it's busy, but we try to keep up with it. The smell of frying snacks usually fills the whole street. We’ve been here at this New Delhi 110062 address for quite some time. We don't do anything fancy with the decor. It's just tables and chairs and the display counters full of whatever we made that morning. When festivals come around, it gets really hectic and we are all working late into the night. It's hard work being on your feet all day, but it’s what we do. We just make the food, sell it, and start over the next day. Sometimes the delivery bikes get in the way out front and the street gets blocked up. It’s a bit chaotic but it feels like home to us. People know us by name around here and that is how we like to keep things.
